Six Basic Grammar Rules in English Rule No. 5 Auxiliary "Has, have, & Had" are used with the Past Participle. Examples: He has done nothing wrong. I have written my novels. She had done his work before I did. In the Present Tense, I, we, they, you, & plural noun take 'have' and he, she it and a singular noun take 'has' For Examples: 1. I have taken my test today. 2.
