Active: Subject + V2 + Object
Passive: Object + was/were + Verb 3 + by Subject

Ali wrote a letter.
➝ A letter was written by Ali.
She cleaned the room.
➝ The room was cleaned by her.
They played cricket.
➝ Cricket was played by them.
✅ 2. Past Continuous Tense
πΈ Structure
Active: Subject + was/were + V-ing + Object
Passive: Object + was/were + being + Verb 3 + by Subject
πΈ Examples
Ali was writing a letter.
➝ A letter was being written by Ali.
She was washing clothes.
➝ Clothes were being washed by her.
They were watching a movie.
➝ A movie was being watched by them.
✅ 3. Past Perfect Tense
πΈ Structure
Active: Subject + had + V3 + Object
Passive: Object + had been + V3 + by Subject
πΈ Examples
Ali had written a letter.
➝ A letter had been written by Ali.
She had completed her work.
➝ Her work had been completed by her.
They had finished the tasks.
➝ The tasks had been finished by them.
