 “There is” & “There are” 

    1. There is a big tree in the garden. (statement)

    2.  Where is the big tree?

    3.  Ans: The big tree is in the garden.

    4.  There is a good film on TV tonight.

    5.  There are many shining stars in the sky.

    6.  There are eleven players in a football team.

    7.  Are there any jobs?

    8.  Is there any book in the shop?

    9.  What’s that noise?

    10.              There are many dogs outside in the street.

    11.              I don’t like this soup. There’s a lot of salt!

    12.              There is no computer left in the shop.

    13.              There are no computers left in the shop.

    14.              Where is the Moon?

    15.              The Moon is in the sky.

    16.              There is a full Moon in the sky.

8. درخت میں دو پرندے گا رہے ہیں۔

10. کھانے کی میز کے ارد گرد پانچ کرسیاں ہیں۔

English Speaking Practice Exercise No. 1 Use of is, are, am, was, were  In Simple Present Tense , we use 'is' with the Third Person Singular (he, she, it and  Singular Noun) For Example: He is a driver.
